Microwave Engineers

Description:
Perform frequency analyses for wireless systems infrastructure to include Microwave backhaul Line-of-Sight (LOS) analysis, topology design, interference examination-reporting, and spectrum efficiency planning.� Conduct Spectrum Analyzer sweeps on various microwave frequency bands.� Determination if harmful signal interference exists at each end of the microwave link and if such interference does in fact exist, perform spectrum analyzer screen captures and conduct further analyses as expected.� Conduct LOS analysis Work with the Implementation team to perform construction design to specify the minimum antenna height for tower construction Determine cable or wave guide length and specific detailed design based on each site construction plan.� Read Maps, Charts, blue prints, or site drawing to determine scope of work for assigned job Work shifts according to a shift schedule perform other related duties as required Work in other locations across Afghanistan as required
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of telecommunications technology and MW engineering experiences.� Significant experience in telecommunication engineering and extensive knowledge of wireless telecom industry and technology.� Ability to interface with other professionals from diverse backgrounds in a multi-cultural setting.� Ability to present abstract and complex information in a clear and concise manner.� Ability to multi-task, work independently and with little guidance.� Ability to lead and take on new area of technology and responsibilities. Ability to understand in depth the functionality of a variety of microwave radio products and their effective integration into a telecom network
